My Mummy's Pennies: Chugger of the Year Review & Giveaway!

  My two year old daughter loves trains and Chuggington is one of her favourite TV series. You can regularly hear shouts of ‘Traintastic’ and ‘Ride the Rails’ coming from our lining room during TV time! (If those phases mean nothing to you then you don’t watch enough Chuggington!) So you can imagine how excited she was when the Chugger of the Year DVD arrived for us to review!

The 70 minute DVD comes with a lovely Die-Cast Speedy Mcallister which has been having fun joining the rest of our train collection around the tracks, but back to the DVD…

There are 7 episodes including:

Both Elizabeth and her big brother Ben have been enjoying all of the episodes, following the Trainees; Wilson, Brewster and Koko on their adventures as they learn important lessons and form friendships, realising that they have to work as a team to get ahead and complete their tasks. Each episode has a simple story that is easy for a young child to follow but is also engaging and I have to admit the adults in the room have been transfixed at times too!

Elizabeth’s favourite episode has to be Chug o Flage where Brewster gets into some trouble in the Safari Park!

This is a lovely collection of episodes from across the series and is really good value for the RRP of just £7.99, it would make a lovely gift for any train loving pre-schooler!
